how does here work?

Public pages are listed in the navigation menu on the bottom left of your screen.

Humber Environmental Data Centre is also developing live data services on behalf of the Yorkshire & Humber Environmental Data Network project which we hope to make publically available once the appropriate contracts and policies are in place. If you want to make use of these services now you will need to register with the data centre. You can do this by clicking the login|register link at the bottom of the navigation menu.

Registration is confirmed via email. Some company firewalls will refuse automatically generated emails so if you do not receive a confirmation email let me know and I will activate your account manually.

Once the appropriate contracts and policies are in place, your level of access will be defined by the terms of your contract with the data centre.

In the meantime I have authorised some users to test these services. Once you have successfully logged in to the data centre website you will have an additional menu with some limited options. To get access to the live data services you will need to email me again to get your account authorised.

Typically access to these developing services will be limited to organisations who have some contractual relationship in place with one of the Yorkshire & Humber Local Record Centres.
