who else is there?

The sites have been listed in order of their local relevance. Local sites first, followed by regional, national and then international.

The Gateway site allows you to view distribution maps and download UK wildlife data by using a variety of interactive tools.

ecotox

Ecotoxicology is a huge subject and is way beyond the scope of the data centre. There are various organisations and databases devoted to the subject.

Not everything has been tested with everything else so typically it is a judgement call to pick a suitably similar species that has been tested against the given chemical. It's probably best to get an ecologist to make that judgement call. If you want us to get that done then drop us a line from the contact page. Alternately you can contact the organisations directly below.

INCA on Teesside have done a lot of work on ecotoxicology on their patch which may be useful. It isn't online at the moment but if you drop them a line they may well be able to help.

The EPA site allows you to search their database online.
